Donne Ashlock brings a classic yet contemporary approach to his fashion and portrait photography. He has been photographing professionally since 2006.

Having grown up immersed in 80s and 90s culture, Donne has an affinity for capturing the energy and movement of his subjects. He is also a fan of timeless photography, drawing inspiration from masters like Richard Avedon, Peter Lindbergh, and Patrick Demarchelier. However, Donne aims to develop his own unique perspective.

His photographs utilize natural light, often shot at sunrise or sunset to achieve a rich, dimensional quality. He also incorporates off-camera lighting and reflectors to sculpt his subjects. Donne's priority is enhancing the visual interest and emotional impact of every image.

While Donne has photographed high-profile models and actors, he most enjoys working with everyday people—drawing out their confidence and personality through genuine conversation.
